Nutkhut presents its unique, exhilarating Dhol workshops for all ages – this fun intergenerational workshop will introduce participants to the Wonderful World of the Dhol (A double headed drum from Punjab).
Not a soul will stand still after this session – you learn, play and dance!
During this exhilarating 30-minute workshop led by 3 drummers, participants will get a little explanation, a little try and a full-on jam!
There are three slots throughout the morning.
Let’s Get Creative is our free monthly session for families with children aged 4-11 years though all are welcome. Children must be accompanied by an adult at all times.
High Tide Festival
The High Tide Festival is a free community-led festival that aims to reignite the spirit of Eel Pie Island in its heyday here in the heart of Twickenham. The Festival seeks out and showcases a diverse selection of the best young and established bands and musicians across 20 stages.
Nutkhut’s mission is to bring to life awe-inspiring stories of the British South-Asian experience, through joyous and playful world-class performances and installations. Nutkhut produces high quality cross-disciplinary work for site-specific contexts, with a particular focus on creating commissioned work for the outdoor sector and tours regularly to festivals, melas and special events.
