16 March – 27 June 2019
Orleans House Gallery
Eleven artists with a variety of approaches reimagine artworks from the Richmond Borough Art Collection.
The show presents new work inspired by these objects and subjects, questioning how much our view has changed and how art reflects the world it’s made in.
From a cast of Sir Richard Burton’s foot, to 17th century portraiture; a collection of photographs showing the 1978 fire in St Mary’s Church Barnes, to the wild landscape that featured along the banks of the Thames – what would you choose and how would you reimagine Richmond?
