Let’s get Creative – National Play Day

This month’s Let’s Get Creative is taking part in National Play Day at Marble Hill Park. A free, fun packed day for all the family which brings together local children’s centres, English Heritage and the Marble Hill playcentre. Orleans House Gallery is very excited to be joining this wonderful event again this year.

As well as story time with libraries, rugby demonstrations and teddy tennis you can join our stall for a creative family art session! Come, play, make and explore some art activities inspired by nature. Using leaves, grasses, and flowers you can try out some nature weaving or mini nature sculptures with artist Abigail Hunt.

This special Let’s Get Creative for National Play Day explores some of the same ideas as our Play:Make:Art sessions for early years children and their families.

There’s no need to book, just turn up to Marble Hill Park anytime between 11am-3pm. There will be plenty of activities to enjoy during the day so why not bring a picnic and make a full day of it!
