Announcing the 2024/25 Emerging Artists at Orleans House Gallery

We are thrilled to announce the three artists taking part in Orleans House Gallery’s 2024/25 Emerging Artists Programme. The exhibitions will take place in the Stables Gallery from Saturday 28 September 2024 through Spring 2025.

The programme is dedicated to supporting early-career artists within the first 10 years of their practice. It provides a platform for artists to strengthen their work and develop their careers.

This year, we received proposals from 206 artists and collectives from around the globe, each presenting a diverse array of exhibition ideas, and we whittled this down to three artists. Our Stables Gallery will come alive with immersive installations, sculpture and paintings, guiding us through imaginative stories.

The gallery promises to be a vibrant and dynamic space, and we extend our gratitude to the artists for sharing their projects with us. We hope you will spend time exploring their work and discovering the powerful, new voices they bring to Richmond.

Lucy Gregory graduated from The Ruskin School of Art, University of Oxford in 2016 and the Royal College of Art, Sculpture in 2018. She creates large-scale, figurative ‘kinetic collages’ that rely on audience participation to activate surreal mechanisms. Her sculptures take inspiration from real-world events and narratives, hierarchies of power, and the way we consume images in a post-internet world.
