Summer at Orleans House Gallery

Orleans House Gallery is a family friendly site. Join us this summer for creativity, exploration or just some fun discovering the woods.

Find out about everything happening this summer: 

  • Collect our new art pack inspired by artwork, My Body is a Sundial. The activity explores colours and shadows and is free. In the pack, you will find materials and some instructions on how to use them. This is available until 31 August or whilst stocks last! 
  • Visit our woodlands using our Families in the Forest guide. You can pick this up from the Cultural Reforesting exhibition. 
  • Listen and dance to the Nature Sings songs by Finn Chatwyn-Ros in the Cultural Reforesting exhibition. 
  • Visit our café. There are ice creams, refreshments, snacks and lunch options. 
  • Join our National Play Day event on 6 August from 2-4pm. Come and build playful spaces with your family! Make cosy nooks, secret hideaways, and imagination dens using all kinds of curious materials. Let your creativity run wild – explore, build, and dream together. Just drop-in on the day! 
  • As part of South Asian Heritage Month, join us for a free performance and dance and movement workshop. 27 July 2025 12pm and 1.30pm. Free! There is no need to book in advance. Full details.
