New Activities for Families

Calling west London children and their adults! We’re launching a new programme of activities for children and families at Orleans House Gallery. From June, families will be able to take part in creative workshops throughout the year led by inspiring and welcoming artists. Expect fun, friendly, supportive spaces for your children to play, create and develop. Find out more about the sessions below. 

Early Years  

This June will see us begin our new Curious Tots workshops for 0-2 year olds. Led by an experienced artist each session will feature a mix of storytelling, music and movement along with gentle interaction and sensory play to enable you and your little ones to have fun and be creative together. The sessions are also designed to nurture important skills including communication and social interaction.

From September, children aged 2-5 years and their adult can have fun at our fortnightly Play:Make:Art sessions. Take part every other Friday in our visual art based activities, bringing children and adults together creatively with the support of an expert artist. All of our early years activities must be booked in advance.

For the whole family 

Let’s Get Creative is our new programme for families at Orleans House Gallery. Join an artist every month for exciting activities in our beautiful gallery spaces and grounds. Explore different themes and techniques in a friendly and relaxed environment.  Activities are free and aimed at children aged 4-11 years accompanied by an adult, though younger and older children are welcome to attend too.  

Our first session is on Sunday 6 June 2021 1-3pm working with artist, Elinor Stanley. Pick up a map and visit the woods for a self-directed adventure. Booking is essential.  The map will be available from the gallery to complete independently from Saturday 28 May for half term.
