Curious Tots

Sing along, wiggle and explore sensory worlds with artist Charlie Betts. Our Curious Tots sessions are a magical sensory experience, full of colour, stories, and song. 

These multi-sensory workshops are designed for pre-walking and toddling children to play and investigate with their parents or caregivers. Jump into a world of make believe and storytelling, inspired by our exhibition collections, the beautiful riverside location, woodland surroundings, and rich history. 

The events aim to support early years skills development in social interaction and communication as well as nurture curiosity and creativity.     

Charlie Betts is a multi-disciplinary artist whose practice spans painting, performance, installation, video, and participatory collaboration. Charlie’s work explores ideas of time, gesture and becoming, often inspired by her own experience as a woman, mother, and artist. 

Practical Information    

• Booking is essential for each adult attending the session. Up to 2 children can attend with each paying adult. Tickets are £8 per adult with a concession price of £5 available for those who need it.      
• Children must always be accompanied by an adult for the duration of the event.    
• Sessions are expected to last around 45 minutes. Please arrive promptly for the start time.   
• These sessions are most appropriate for pre-walking and toddling children although you are welcome to bring an older child if you feel they will still enjoy the event.
